I have had my feeders out for 6 weeks changing every two days and there has not been one hummer. They were here by now this time last year. Were oh were are my hummers?

My hummers were later this year, too, but they've finally arrived the past couple days. Keep your eyes open.

Makshi, I haven't seen any here, either. Maybe they took the 465 bypass around the city and headed north! :)

Suzy LOL I hope they find their way back. I have wasted a lot of hummer feed on those little dears trying to intice them to come here.
Saw one this morning! I don't have a clear view to the feeder like I normally do at this time; my plastic greenhouse is still up because it's so cold!

makshi-- I read somewhere HBs follow the bloom of the lilac and also the storm fronts. So we're having rain right now and maybe after this front goes through some HBs will arrive from the south. (Although I haven't looked at where this rain is coming from...) Where is Noblesville, anyway--suburb of Indy, maybe? LOL

I use 4 cups water to 1 cup white sugar. Some people make it a touch stronger earlier in the season.
I make mine the same way and use bottled water.
