Crinums-Most Fragrant &/or Hardy

Zanesville, OH(Zone 6a)

I'm thinking about trying crinums even though I would probably have to overwinter them inside. Which do you find to be the most fragrant (if there's a fragrant variety of any plant, I'm all for it LOL)? The most hardy? Thanks!

Some are very fragrant. You might want to post this over in bulbs. I just got one that is supposed to smell like vanilla although I cannot remember the name for the life of me.

Thanks, everyone, for the info! Now I just have to figure out which crinum is the most fragrant (an added bonus would be if it overwintered outside here). marie, if you remember the name of the one you have that smells like vanilla, please let me know. That sounds great! And when it blooms, please share pics and let us know how it smells :~)

JAGUS CHRISTOPHER is the type of crinum I believe.
