I am starting this thread for all of us that read this forum who only have a few hoyas and would like a few more. The spring swap sounds great, but having only 2 relatively new plants I felt I should not enter. So here is a swap, which should be right up our alley. And if you have a monsterous collection, you can enter, too. I am just wanting people like myself to have a chance to work it out.
All individuals requesting cuttings should in the first line of the post, type REQUEST followed on the next lines by what your request is for 'anything', 'small plants' "fast growers" and "carnosa v varigata" are all acceptable requests, if you need more than one line take it, but one line per item. Then skip down a line for any other comments.
All people making offers of plant material type "OFFER" followed by your offer/offers on the following line, as above.
Only make one request or offer, not one every time you post. Discussion is expected and should be found below any offer/request messages to keep offers and requests clear to all.
Generally, I would expect that this will be for postage costs paid by the requester. But anyway that it works out between senders and recievers is game so long as it is agreed in advance. There is also no time line for the swap, that is between senders and recievers, too.

Great idea, AD - I think you may have more folks with extra hoya cuts towards fall when they tend to be 'neatened up' for bringing indoors or just too large. I know i will have some.... but I can't tell you which ones right now.
I agree with Carol. This is a great idea. In the fall, I will have plenty to give away for postage. I'm going to try to also whittle down my collection somewhat, and this will be a good opportunity to do so while at the same time helping out those who are trying to build a collection.
