Tacca finally Germinated, Now What??

northeast, IL(Zone 5a)

I planted several Tacca chantieri (sp?) seeds almost two months ago, and one has finally germinated. I started them in peat pellets in one of those little domed seed starting tray things. The one that has germinated is about 11/2" high, and still has the leaves contained in the seed shell. I know these things are really touchy. Should I leave it in the enclosed tray until the seed shell comes off? Then what?? Small pot, what kind of potting soil? Fertilizer? And then outside?, or inside my greenhouse for a while? (I have a 10'X10' plastic greenhouse where the covered seed starting tray with the Tacca seeds is now.) I'm afraid that it will be getting too hot in there within another month or so, but we're still having some chilly (40º) nights.

I am really surprised that I actually got one to germinate!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Deb

well done, I heard they take up to 6 months...
