Are these these okay!

How can you tell if seeds are ruined? These were left on the plant several months and even after geing ripe. We had rain a good bit and so I wonder if they had gotten wet.

Peel the cork a few to see if the seed is all right. It should be.

I had some once before from another brug, and when I peeled the cork they broke up. Does that mean they were no good? Also, should I soak before peeling? I hope these are good because it was a beautiful orange flower. Don't know who or what pollinated her...

I have better luck if I don't soak them. Then again my nail have never been very tough. I take off little bits at a time and ease off as I get to the seed itself. I read somewhere that most of the seed will produce plants with white colored plants although more and more planned crossed are producing colored flowers.

Just take a very small pinch from one end you should see the seed, I never soaked mine
