I'm looking for a friend. She describes it as a pepper the size and (sort of) the shape of a cherry tomato, but it's sweet NOT hot.
Looking for a sweet pepper
try http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/81951/ , http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/81952/ . These are most likely, but there are lots of roundish sweet peppers generally described as cherry, tomato or heart shaped. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/advanced.php?nn%5B1%5D=0&nn%5B2%5D=0&nn%5B4%5D=0&nn%5B82%5D=1&nn%5B83%5D=2&nn%5B84%5D=0&nn%5B85%5D=0&nn%5B86%5D=0&nn%5B87%5D=0&nn%5B88%5D=0&nn%5B9%5D=0&nn%5B23%5D=0&nn%5B10%5D=0&nn%5B12%5D=0&nn%5B18%5D=0&sname=Peppers&Search.x=30&Search.y=14
Thanks, Farmerdill!
I also found Capsicum chinense 'Ají dulce'. I know there are Aji dulce that are hot, but I've read a true Aji dulce is sweet but may have some spice to it. Are you familiar with that variety?
Not really. Supposedly a Habernero without the heat. I have seen it described as mild to no heat. http://www.thechileman.org/results.php?page=2&chile=1&find=Any&heat=Any&origin=Any&genus=Chinense
Farmerdill,
They said the Cherry Sweet is the one they are looking for and have ordered seeds. Thanks for your help.
Jody
Does anyone know the name of the mildly hot pickled flat yellow one you normally find at a salad bar.
