New plants

North East England, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

I visited a couple of specialist alpine nurseries on Friday and came back with lots of plants :)

I wanted some new plants for a stone sink so that has been almost completely replanted and I have replaced some plants in my other sinks. I got a Salix myrtilloides Pink Tassels for the front corner. Arisarum proboscideum, Cassiope mertensiana, Armeria maritima rubra compacta, Primula pubsecens Joan Danger, Pulsatilla Papageno, Adonis brevistyla and Narcissus papyraceus.

I'll post pictures when it stops raining!

I also got some new species lilies. I am having a bit of a clear out of plants so I can put in new ones...

The newly planted sink, there are a few existing plants already in there such as lilium insigne, polygonatum hookeri and jeffersonia

I'm glad it stopped raining. ;-) Those are just lovely. I particularly like the
delicate little cassiope. The sink is very nice already!

That is the cutist Cassiope!

Lilium oxypetalum var. insigne is a wonderful little lily. I had it when I first started growing lilies, and didn't plant it where it should have been. Not that it is definitely hardy here, but it didn't have a chance due to . . . me. But for one season, it won me over:
