Help determine types of ducklings

Clarksburg, MO

I just got home from Orscheln's and seemed to arrive with 25 ducklings. Don't know how they slipped in the van when I wasn't looking LOL. Maybe the fact that they were reduced to $1.00 a piece helped to convince them to jump in.

Anywho, I need help in determining what types I have. Does anyone know of any good sites and also any good duck advice would be appreciated.

Thanks-

That was a great sale price!

That's what I was thinking. They were originally $3.99. They are really having fun but seem to be getting wet. I have rocks in their waterer, but they are still managing to get wet. Any suggestions???

Also I read that they can go outside at 1 week old (protected of course). Do any of you let them out that early???

Sheila I'm getting my very first ducks ever this week (around Tuesday) so I really don't have an answer for you but maybe someone will respond with more experience.

and here is all kinds of info about the different duck breeds as well as breeders, not sure if there are pictures. you might try sand hill or another online hatchery for good photos of what they look like as ducklings...
