I've been sanding the arms and legs of an old leather semi-stuffed chair. It had been painted/varnished an almost black color.
The wood underneath is quite light, I'm not for certain what type of wood it is. There is a little black in the wood, and I don't want to sand any deeper.
Does anyone have any suggestions on a good liquid removal for this? Also, I am not even half finished sanding/removing, and would like a product to help remove this on the other legs as well to save my fingers, arms and back.
My ex tried some kind of paint thinner on a hallway rail in the past and it didn't work. I need something STRONG enough to be worth getting my lazy butt to the store.
Anyone have suggestions?
