Phicks you're such a tease. And an inspiration.

I am growing pole beans for the first time in my life on what have always been my morning glory trellises in the front yard.

The pole beans in the stores look huge compared to the bush beans I've always grown. Seems like they'd be way overgrown and tough. So how do you know when they are the right size to pick? I know you could probably pick them small but I want max production but still nice. Also if you don't keep bush beans picked they quit. Are pole beans the same?

Paul,
My KW leaves have copper-colored spots on them. Any ideas what that is and what I should use? did you spray your green beans at all? Please advise. Thanks.

Linda

GG, how 'bout some pictures? Bet you have some super bean vines.

The grubs are playing games with mine, but I'm planting more.

Wow, I'm so envious--- can't even plant beans here for another week! They sure look good, I'm going to plant Blue Lake and French Filet bush beans, can't wait to make dilly beans.
