Paul, I've recently started the same sort of thing. Would you be willing to share the information? The Registry of Brugmansias just goes back to the parents if at that. For example, Cupid's Blush doesn't have any pod parent or pollen parent listed so you had to have hunted for it. Maybe some sort of pedigree list can be started here in this forum. I'm also looking for little gems of information that would be of help when looking at what to cross. I understand that some hybridizers don't include the pedigree because some of them have had copycat imitators take the information, bred look-alikes and profited from them. I'm sure that the greater majority of people would use this information properly. Having this sort of information would help increase the odds of getting a good new hybrid. Who would object to that?

ill share what i know i try and contact the hybridizers to see what they used it takes some time to go back 3 gen some you cant find or know one seems to know paul

What a wonderful Brug and how wonderful it would be if we could see the parent info on the blooms posted here (if known) ...bettydee (Veronica) that would be such a help.A list that shows which brugs are not fertile and which are good parents would be fantastic too.

Great Paul...nice flower... I put my Cupids Blush out in it's summer home today.. whenyou posted I was wondering if mine had made it through.. but it looks just fine... as good as any growing inside here.. and far better than most.. it gets an "A" for taking it in stride..it doesn't look like it lost a leaf...
yes a regestery would be a big help..if just to see which are making strong... easy... bug / disease resistant... blue off spring... OK.. Just kidding about Blue...
you'reabout1200 miles ahead of me there.. so I should be seeing a bloom or two in a month or so.. Gordon
