Fast Baby help please

South, TX

Here are some pictures of my Sunlit Sugar Plum babies. They have a wonderful root ball. I thought it was time to repot. I had two leaves in a little pot so I want to have them grow along now. WHERE do I separate? It has been a long time since I did it. Do I lave the whole leaf with the babies and repot? They are not that small anymore. I think it is time.

Here is one...

Well, I found out the leaves should be the size of a dime before separating. I just put each leaf into a solo cup, wicked. Now I will wait until they grow up.

I'm glad you found that information, Sallysblooms . . . I've got cuttings sitting in water with baby leaves, and was wondering the same thing!

Avs joined my life a little over a year ago .........but I would never separate babies that little. Maybe other people do, but I wait until I get about 3 or 4 nice leaves and the plants separate easily.

May be someone else will come along and give you better advice. I sometimes leave the strep mother leaf with the babies and just cut the mother leaf back to the soil, but I don't think you can do that with avs. Streps look great when they have a couple or three crowns, but no avs.

No, I am not home........just jumped on DG for a minute or two............
