Salvias and Cupheas gone wild

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

My garden is really in full swing. The salvias and cupheas are doing exceptionally well. In fact, I'm having to pull up some of the salvias because they're taking over! I even have coral vine already blooming and that's earlier than usual for mine. I took a few pics this morning and wanted to share.

It was cloudy and I had to adjust the light on this one. It now looks too yellow, but it's the best I could do.

These are last year's angelonia with begonias, white plumbago, loripetalum and cupheas

And last one, my street corner planting of roses and blue daze. This one was taken a week or so ago, before the blue daze had perked up from it's spring hair cut.

Just beautiful......I'm getting plant envy already.

Gorgeous! I just love roses and blue daze. At one time I had a large border that consisted entirely of roses, blue daze, and white angelonia. It was beautiful.

Bravo! You have a knack of beautiful combos. I am thinking of putting blue daze in a pot. (annual here in 8a) since I have heard such high praise for the blooming power.

Thanks to everyone for their kind comments. I'm going to try to get some pics of the back beds while the lilies are blooming and I'll post those later.

Beautiful Crow!!!

Is that Esperanza in the first pic, on the left? I can't believe it's blooming, mine are still only about 1' tall.

You've done a great job!

Yes, it's esperanza. I also have two in the back garden. One is underplanted with blue plumbago and they're both in full bloom. Mine didn't freeze this year and I didn't cut them back, so I guess that's why they're blooming so well. I fertilized early with Ozmocote also. I love that stuff!
