What type plant food do you use on a EE ?

Can you put plant food. fertilizer on EEs?

Depending on the EE, some are heavy feeders, especially in summer. If you could specify which kind of EE you have, I can be more specific.

Believe it or not, I've never had a Thailand Giant; most of my EEs are Alocasias, and some are quite large growers. With them, I sometimes have to use a combination of dry feed and soluble fert in order to get enough nutrients to them without burning.

From what I know about Colocasias, I think yours will benefit more from soluble fertilization, like Miracle Gro General Purpose plant food. Start out with 1/2 the recommended rate shown on the box and see how your plant responds. If the weather is warm, you can apply the fert once per week, but make sure the soil is already moist prior to applying fert solution to avoid burning.
