I recently purchased some crocosmia corms to put in my garden. In doing research, I found a lot of confusing, and conflicting information. There were some people who argued for fall planting, while others said spring was fine. It would seem to me that spring makes sense if you are lifing the bulbs in the northern part of the country.
My main concern was do they bloom the first year? Several posts that I read had gardeners wondering why they weren't blooming in their areas. Also, what can I do to encourage lots of blooms?
Planting Lucifer crocosmia first time
I planted Lucifer in spring and it bloomed the first year, but the display has been much showier every year after.
Thank you Gemini
