Found this in our front flower bed. Any idea what it might be? Should I yank it or leave it?

It looks like Goldenrod, I love it, but then you know how I am.
Hmmmm.....might just have to let it stay. It self-sowed from who knows were, but it was growing right up against the rock wall, so we moved it, nursed it until its roots got resituated, and it's now a happy clam. Will have to keep you updated on its growth.
I checked out PlantFiles on this (if it's Goldenrod) and I'm thinking that this is not in a great spot for it. This is in the front yard by my driveway, not the ideal location for it. I think it would do better in my backyard where it can go wild! Do you think I could move it again and it would survive?
Yes, if you take a good portion of the roots with it and baby it for a while.
