Name this hibiscus?

Davis, CA(Zone 9b)

Found this lovely in front of a house in Petrópolis, Brazil. I call it the Royal Hibiscus... But I don't know if it's got a name at all..

Enjoy!

Maybe Sunshowers?

Dublin, CA(Zone 9a)

That was my first thought too...but it looks a bit too red (which could just be climate) and I've never seen mine have a center that looked like that so I'm not sure. Whatever it is it's very gorgeous though!

Tulsa, OK

It's very pretty but I don't think it's sunshowers as it's center has a very dark red - sunshower's center is anywhere from a white to pink center

Here I am. A bit late as I've been in Spain for two weeks.
That bloom is Maroon Stars.
In Petropolis (Brazil) lives the best hybridizer of South America, Beth Jordan. She sells a lot of beauties, most of her own.

jtwig, I can put you in contact with Beth if you want to visit her place next time you go to Brazil. She likes people from other countries to visit her.
