Need Help With Hibiscus ID

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 9a)

I received the seeds in a trade and they were marked simply "Hibiscus Yellow". I planted the seed last year and one has a small bloom on it now. The plant in general seems to grow from same wood stock from the previous year... unless cut.

Here are a few pictures to help... the color of the bloom is actually a pale yellow... the rendering of the color from the camera isn't exact.

Reminds me of Abelmoschus manihot, but I think there may be others that have similar flowers http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/1888/

Thanks....

I might also mention that the bloom might be small because the plant itself is small. During the winter it lost all it's foliage (in zone 9)... and it never really had time to get big last year... hopefully this year it will thrive.
