How was your Day......69???

Rowlett, TX(Zone 8a)

Can't believe its time for a new thread...Let me introduce you to the new (well, okay, 7 weeks in the family now) grandpup, Remy.

His story started out very scary for him and those that found him. Apparently he was abandoned at a very early age and my DD's friend found him in the alley behind her house after her dogs started barking and raising a fit. She rushed him to the vet...they were not sure he would even make it the night....full of worms, starving little puppy. Friend (who already had 4 dogs) called DD and asked her to take him..I saw him the next morning, he was so pitiful and weak, he could hardly lift his head off the floor while laying in a bed. He was nothing but bones...and skin to cover, but no flesh at all..poor little baby.

Every day he got a little stronger, got rid of all the worms (he was FULL of them) started eating regular meals..now is a happy, jumping around little boy who was 3# the first visit to the vet, after 7 weeks (last week) he weighed in at 18#. He has come a long way..

Here is was after a week or so,...already a lot better.

Please meet Remy
