I was struck today by how different the leaves of some Hoya can be from each other. The leaves in the picture are from H. obovata (the dark green, round, silver-splotched leaves) and H. meredithii (the yellowish-green, oblong leaves with dark veins). Who would have thought these two were both from the same genus of plants?
Different leaves
Wow... Your obovata leaves are much more speckled than mine!!! I will post them soon...even within a species they can be different.
Great photo by the way!!!
That's one of the many things I love so much about hoyas! In addition to beautiful flowers many of them have really unique foliage, too!
That is a great photo!
Mark, Beautiful leaves! my Obovata looks same as yours with lots of speckles. It's forming few peducles right now but early stage so it'll be awhile before flowering.
What a beautiful picture - really does capture what I love about hoyas - their foliage! Nice, Mark!

One of the reasons I love hoyas so much is their contrast in foliage. Your picture depicts it so well. Beautiful plants, Mark.
