i have other daffs as well i'm waiting for them all to bloom, lol. poet's i can do a few trades of or a larger amount of. will check out ur tradelist soon as i'm done. my trade lists r not up to date.
this is one of the daffs i can do a few bulbs for (i don't have a lot of them but can share some, it is another of my favs). i think it is a mount hood lrg cup daff or it is an heirloom variety i'm not 100% sure on these. they start out a pale yellow and the longer bloomed r more a cream or white color.
the one i just picked today looks pure white w/ a tiny tad of a yellow halo to me but the one i picked days ago that is starting to wilt looks pure white to me.
outside they look light baby yellow when first boomed and as they age before the bloom dies they look pure white. i'm not for sure as it is one that was here when i bought my property about 5 years ago so i didn't plant these ones. closest thing i've found to match them is mount hoods.
van jlke tulips-sorry if i spelled that wrong
that's all i can think of off the top of my head at the moment. these r all pics just taken over the last week as things r sprouting and blooming like crazy finally!! i may have peoponies, iris and some things to divide later also after they bloom so i know what all is where. i'll update with things as often as i can think of them.
thanks,
silkie
silkie........ i dont have a huge amount to trade right now. have a few small armeria sea thrift and im starting some lungwort (purple). if not i could do trade for postage. would love some trout lillies and the red trillium. i snatched a big white one while on a walk earlier! lol
Silkie, you can check MY trade list (I can't remember what's on it), but I like your daffodils. I'm thinking hard about forsythia, but I have my own bush in the back to root if I want. Do you like any of my perennials? -Carrie
I would love some trout lilies if I can find something you want. I have some daisy plants but not sure of the kind. They are easy to grow and quite pretty and some Sundrops. If none of these will do I will see what other hardy things I can find.
Hello,
I am interested in your "a mount hood lrg cup daff or it is an heirloom variety i'm not 100%" and double yellow daffodils. I'll send you D-mail with what I have. Let me know if anything sounds attractive.
sorry everyone i have spent the last 3 days and nights in the hospital with my 4 year old who is very sick. we just now got home although the doc really didn't want to let her come home. i had to rush her to the er for rapid heart rate and breathing problems, come to find out she is asthmatic and has asthma induced bronchidous. they ended up keeping her unexpectedly so i got alot to catch up on and will get back to everyone as soon as i can. i got a bunch of ebay things to get out first they need packed and shipped immediately. once i get all those caught up and i catch up what everyone here has written to me i'll gladly get back to you all.
thanks so much!!!
silkie
so sorry silkie. you take care of your baby first. she is important. we will be here hangin' around when you get back.
take care
Silkie so sorry about the baby. My DS was the same way when he was younger he outgrew it. Here is hoping your baby has the same good fortune. Take care of the child first.
take care of that baby.
when you baby is better, let me know if your are interested in trading for TB irises.
Take all the time you need and don't worry about little things here.
Hope your little one is better and safer, nothing is more scary than taking
your child to ER and feeling helpless.
u all r great thanks so much for understanding and being there. she was doing better some today so i got to catch up on shipping my ebay stuff and swaps while she was sleeping for awhile.
i think i answered back all the d-mails i had. let me take care of all them and i'll get back to everyone i missed who posted here i didn't get d-mails from.
thanks so much to all of u!!
silkie
i can divide my liatris i have purple and white but would be unknown color since they r planted together. they would be divisions from my mother plants. i also have some white lily of the valley as well that is just starting to open leaves and show buds. if anyone might be intrested in either of these let me know also.
