My mom's cat has been having seizures. My brother witnessed two this weekend. She is in her mid teens, and is active, eating and drinking normally. She has gotten more friendly the past week or two, which is totally not like her, and her coat has gotten very matted, and that has never been a problem before. There have been no changes in diet, and she stays inside. When the seizure happens her back legs shake, she loses control of her bladder, the entire episode lasts 45 sec to a minute, after the shaking stops she will lay still for maybe another 30 seconds, then get up and slowly walk off like nothing ever happened.
Any ideas what is going on?
