Help with ID

This may or may not be the right forum for this. I bought a hanging basket yesterday that the seller did not tag. I have searched a few places, but hey, when you really need to know something, where better to find the info than Dave's??

Maggidew, I have no help for you on the propagating the Nong nooch vine,(sorry) . Maybe someone else will have some information on starting a few more.
I found mine at North Haven Gardens in Dallas.

Should be simple, most vines can be done - really most tropicals - in the early summer with semi firm shoot cuttings. One of the greatest things a gardener can do is grow cuttings to add to their own garden and - the biggest thing we gardeners do - give away to others. Take the semi firm shoot cuttings take off the tops and the sections and start picking the leavs and buds off all but the top two. This should be a shoot that already bloomed seeingn the plant wants to add new growth after a bloom burst, add to a soilless growing mix into a cup, place the cup in half of a two liter bottle cut in half, tape the other half on top and water. Keep the lid on - you now have a mini greenhouse for the cuttings so they will stay moist and in 3-12 weeks they should have roots. if for some reason this does not work try they at diffrent stages all summer long - one of them will be the right time and will work great. I normally run between 500-1000 cuttings each summer and about a third of those are tropical vines never had an issue yet. The other easy option is if it is in the ground take a tip bend it over and burry it using a hait pin to keep it in place, keep moist and it will root for you and have a baby plant in about 6 m. but without the worries of watering and keeping moist.
