Question....

Does anyone know of a hoya that smells (to them) like chocolate?

Carol......I've never smelled any hoya that smells like chocolate and I never have heard of one that does. Now.... there are a couple of orchids that I had that smelled very much like chocolat. Let me know if you find this hoya.....I'd like it :)

I'm assuming you mean blooms? Motoskei smells very chocolately to me. Yum.

Yes, I agree with Gabi - motoskei and Krimson Princess...even my toddler says "chocolate?" when she smells them!

I think that compacta flowers smell like chocolate.

Oh Wow ... a Hoya with chocolate fragrance, mmmm! I have KP(32 years now) and have never detected a fragrance whatsoever on that one!

I've recently heard about that "chocolate" orchid, Oncidium "Sharry Baby" ... it's on my wish list when I get around to ordering.

I agree with Christine. I have a H. compacta at my office and my co-workers agree the blooms smell like chocolate.
