Rain barrels

Well, I have procured 3 bright white plastic food grade barrels :). Where they need to go, they will stick out like a sore thumb. I am
going to need to paint them, I was thinking of the Krylon plastic paint in a tan/sandstone color so they will fade into my house.

Have any of you painted plastic barrels? I've used the Krylon paint on a plastic wagon and it worked quite well. Any idea how many cans I would need for each barrel? I'm getting another three for out back, but I'm not painting those.
