STEMMA - a reminder

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

Some of the newest on this forum may not be aware of the Online Publication, STEMMA, edited and published by Mark Randal. For those who are not receiving it yet...you might send him a D-mail and get on the list. It IS a well researched very interesting quarterly publication...great photos and subject matter...lots of good information re: hoyas.

I'll second what Carol said about Stemma - it's really great & readable from a "lay person" standpoint, always has lots of helpful information. Definitely worth the dmail!

Carol! Which flowers are those???? And if I don't have that plant, I want one!!!

LOL...it is H. imperialis. The flower on the left is var. Rauchii and on the right is the clone from Palawan. The NEXT issue of Stemma has an interesting (to me 'cause I wrote it...hahaha) article where we found different clones of H. imperialis growing (and BLOOMING) in Sabah.....

Oh goody - I have that one.....just a small cutting, though.....hmmm, do I feel another hoya order coming on???? Geesh, just when I think "Ok, I really can stop now, I have ENOUGH, here comes another one I want, or I want a BIGGER one than I already have....some people (me) are never satisfied - hey, is that the definition of addiction??? Anyway, looking forward to the article in STEMMA!

I will never own most of these beauties I see posted here on this forum but it sure is fun to see all the photo's and read about them! And, Stemma is really wonderfully written, with great information in each issue!
