I have 4 rooted gardenias. I layered the stems last year and potted them up a couple months ago. They are putting on new leaves right now. If you would like one or all (for a larger trade), take a look at my wish list of I will look at your have list.

Ahhh wish we knew which kind it was....there are a few that are hardy up this-a-way...
All I know that it is pretty old (at least 20 yrs) and has huge blooms on it. It bloomed twice for me this year. What a shock that was!
What a heavenly scent you must have enjoyed!!! When it blooms again...if you get an ID & trying rooting again...I'd love for you to keep me in mind!! ^_^
I will do that, I need to id all of mine. We have 5 in all, and I'm sure that there are 3 different kinds. Funny about the smell, I'm highly allergic to them so I don't smell them or go near them when in bloom. If I had my choice they wouldn't be in the yard but I can't kill a perfectly healthy plant.
That's just awful...I'm so sorry!! I can't even imagine being allergic to fragrant plants - I adore the scents too much
