This is entertaining

American Maid bloomed for me yesterday and following the color phases it goes through has been fascinating. This flower, the first for me, is 9".

When it first opened it was sort of red (top left) then it proceeded through several other changes, getting floppy in the process yesterday, and this morning it is sort of a rosy apricot color (lower right) and the petals have firmed up again. Can't wait to see what happens today.

Hope this collage thing works, this is a first for me too. LOL

Thanks, my plant arrived with a fat seed pod; does anyone now if these are viable? I know some plants like the Black Dragon set seed all the time but they are duds.
