Kyle - what do you do to control the mealies? I've had bad experiences in the past and just noticed a few on one of my gv hibs yesterday - YIKES!

Since I have a commercial applicators license I can use restricted sprays. I use Flagship in a spray form, and use Marathon granular inbetween. Both are iclimoprid pesticides. Bayer tree and shrub insect killer works well too! You can buy it at about any garden center or big box store.Mix with water and water into the soil.works for up to a year.It has 'merit' in it,also an iclimoprid chemical.

Thanks Kyle - I'll pick some up tonight. I sprayed the achol solution on it but it just breaks down the waxy coating doesn't kill those pests!
