Sure....make be jealous! My tomatoes are kusheled in their Wall O Waters at the moment. One bravely started to peek out of the top, then this cold front moved in - we're down in the 40's again. The poor thing pulled its branch back down under the covers.

What variety is that you're growing?

I cant find the tag it is somewhere under there. It doesn't have a name it is one of the numbered varities that are made to grow in Florida. It's doing good here. paul

Im having terrible luck even getting the flowers to make a fruit. It has just been so cool at night and almost another freeze last week. Im having a hard time getting anything going. You are so close...yet so far, when it comes to growing

I have some Sungold ripening. I picked 4 little ones yesterday and are they ever tasty! What I love best? Thin skin. I hate trying to eat a tomato with a leather coat.

We are trying out 4 different kinds and brands 'non hybrids'.

All the seeds came out strong, so now we have too many . We put some in pots, some in garden .I think it's too hot here for garden, so only a couple of each kind in garden and couple of each in containers.

Bell peppers already have blooms . Potatos have nice leaves, but we need to cover them with more dirt . Squash is doing fine and will soon bloom.

We have been eating the lettuce for 2 months now .Past time to cut collards . Cabbage is a bad joke , no head, looks like collards!

I have never been able to get a head on any kind of veggie down here. Your not alone. Seems it took forever for my few veggies to get going. I do have tomatoes and peppers with tiny little fruit. Beans and watermelon finally taking on a growth sprut, no flowers yet.

Talk about jealous! I put out my traditional sacrificial tomato plant on a warm April day, ensconced in a wall o water... and then we got a hard freeze of 25*F and it promptly keeled over. Nights still flirting with freezing and we had a dust of snow last week... but the sunflowers are doing well, and the desert weeds are blooming nicely... sometimes I do MISS zone 8/9! Greenhouse! I need a greenhouse!

Well,I'm green with envy. I just got my first run of 'mators out 2-3 weeks ago. I did notice when I was checking the garden yesterday that my Cherokee Chocolate had flowers even though they're not even a foot tall yet.

We've been having some wishy-washy weather. Last three mornings have been chilly but not freezing temps. Rain...LOTS of rain...waaaayyyy LOTS of rain.
