I have three little hibiscus that I saved fom death row at HD. They are the Chinese variety I think? Anyway, a new pot, some food and water and they are coming along fine and putting out lots of blooms, but I think their stressed state brought in the predators. I'm pretty sure I see thrips on the buds (lot's of tiny black poop LOL) and today one of the buds was chewed in half on the Cherie, which is the one that was in the worst shape.
I try to steer clear of anything too deadly, as I have a 2 year old that is in to EVERYTHING, so just having poisons around gives me the heebee geebies. Does anybody here have a suggestion for a product I could use that is maybe organic or not terribly toxic.
I really appreciate it, I'm not a big hibiscus grower (yet) but they are beautiful!
Thanks!
Joey
