New Forest Planting Over Rock.

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

I just did this one last night.
It's nothing fancy and I'll prolly tear it down and plant them in pots to get them fatter soon.
Privet Hedge planted on rock.
Its hard to see in the pictures but there is a natural trail in the rock going up the side and curving around lol.
I planted a small wild sweet pea vine with deep pink/maroon blooms on the far right side, just because I could LOL!

Yuppers. If I remember to water it LOL!
Tankies.

I hear you - how often are you going to water? Have you thought about setting it up on a mister?

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

lol when I can afford to do a proper set up I wanna include a mister system yea.
I was thinking about turning the front flower bed into an enclosed garden and making a pretty japanese type sitting area with tables for the bonsai.

I water it a few times a day right now, it gets old fast when you have to do it the hard way LOL!!!

I hear you - just start working today on a few new babies and yep all of them the old hard way with the water... dreaming of a mister system.

Ill poke around this year and find a super cheap way to do it, LOL!
Maybe Ill make a "wick system".

Just might work...

Ha! I just checked this bonsai and it was dryyyyyyyyyyy. Maybe shell live LOL.
I need to move it to the deep shade. Dang me and my memory! LOL

Oh no.. and it is not even summer yet!

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

lol, that sucks I know.

Lindsay, OK(Zone 7a)

I know... I know...so what is the plan?

Crossville, TN(Zone 7a)

I was thinking about putting a wick in a bucket of water and placing it in the back of the bonsai soil.
Maybe that will keep it watered on a regular basis. Ill try it out and post my results.
I hope it works, im too forgetful to water so many mame, LOL!
