oh just call in your garden crew, before Thursday and lay out where everything is going and leave it to them and get over here. I am figuring I will not have a field trip that day since I have one Friday so I will be good to go and if you are here by 9 we can meet up and go...I jstu have to be back to drive by 2:15

Hey, gal. They dig the bed (as I used to myself) and then leave. The planting part is my chore. Just don't get around like I used to.

My aunt, friend and I went last year because we were already there for a trip to Blue Moon Gardens and the Tyler Rose Garden. We got there at the tail end of the sale and still got some neat plants, including Toad Lily and a neat exotic beautyberry. I definitely recommend it! :) I will be leaving Thursday to go up to Oklahoma for a wedding so no trip out there for me this year.
I am also missing the best sale in North Texas - The plant sale for the Southside Preservation Association in Ft. Worth this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. All their plants are large for their pot size AND cheap for the pot size. Example: Last spring, I bought my friend a Vitex which had more than outgrown it's 4" pot for $1.99. It's now at least 3 feet tall. And they have at least 20 rose varieties from Antique Rose Emporium. http://southsidepreservation.com/index.html There will be many more plants than listed on their website list. They also have a beautiful rose garden. And the Ft Worth Botanical Gardens are just a few miles away. It's the perfect trip.

Mike is going full force on the redecorating of the backroom. Only took 3 years for him to decide it was his idea. I will probably be painting on Saturday.
