your volunteer could it be an anemone??

Blyth, ON(Zone 5b)

Actually, I suspect it might be one of the Sisyrinchiums. It seems to have spread a tiny bit this year, so I'm hoping for many more in my future :-)

Victoria Harbour, ON

I could always post my 'plastic' ones...
How beautiful your plants are..you are teasing us on this glorious day..and nobody can ever hijack my thread..always open to anyone, any discussion, photo's galore..always nice to see people share....more photo's please..

Blyth, ON(Zone 5b)

I'll try to make my plants oblige by flowering more quickly :-)

How about some of my indoor seed starts and my winter sown seedlings?

Victoria Harbour, ON

Now that's an idea..I'll be on the lookout when I get home tonight..need something to post..now what will it be?

Blyth, ON(Zone 5b)

Sorry about not posting those pics last night Betty. Time got away from me again, and I won't be getting home until late this evening either. I'll try to get some up this weekend for you.

Mississauga, ON(Zone 6a)

Nice pictures Ginny.

Here is a picture of my Woodstock hyacinth.

I find that it's hard to get the true deep colour as the light from the sky bounces off the flowers and shows up as white.

Yes, it is difficult to get the true colours, isn't it? And each camera will pick them up differently as well. I think your Woodstock is the same as my magenta. All of my spring bulbs (except the new tulip bed) were purchased long before I became a "real" gardener and I didn't worry about the names of anything. If I still have the tags I have no idea where they might be...wait...I think I do know where they are...I'll check them...

They *are* Woodstock, and the blue ones are Blue Jacket :-)

Joan .. what an AWESOME Hyacinth .. the colour is wonderful .. and I would imagine it has an aroma to match it .

Was wondering what everyone does with their Crocus after they bloom ?? Leave'em or dig them up and put'em to bed ..

Thank you MarilynneS

I only wish you could see the true deep magenta colour of it.

Blyth, ON(Zone 5b)

My crocus stay put so they'll hopefully just keep spreading for me.

Thanx Ginny .. I always left my Tulip bulbs and ended up with more the following year ..
