Our names are John and Ginny, we live in northern Ohio on the southeast side of Cleveland. I (John) hybridize daylilys, hostas, clivia, candy lilies and bromeilads. We are hoplessly addicted to many types of plants which also include succulents belonging to the aloe, gasteria, and euphorbia families. We also have quite a few African Violets and a few orchids. We enjoy a large variety of perennials and collect coneflowers and hardy hibiscus. We grow a number of varieties of cleome and, marigolds each year along with impatiens and coelus for the shady areas. We almost always had a few hoyas, but when the children came we gave up some things. Here we are 20 some years later, the kids are grown, and we are ready to resume our hobby. But since we have resumed collecting plants have not aquired any hoyas. I am looking forward to the swap
About us....
Hi John and Ginny. Welcome to the forum and back to Hoyas. It's good to have you here.

Yes...WELCOME! Tell us (at least me....)what are Candy Lilies?
Thanks for sticking thru our disfunctional manifestation...just some bugs in the system!!!
I would also like to roll out the welcome mat for John and Ginny. With your kids gone, I imagine that frees up some window space that will be perfect for Hoyas. Enjoy the journey and please do chime in with your growing practices and experiences.
