These happen to be very old. Perhaps dating back nearly a hundred years. Not presently in the limelight they the doubles offer intresting contrast to the typical hybreds being most often sold today. Some catalogs still offer doubles. Try a few for an exciting difference.

The oldies are definately the tried and true. Though I love the newer ones I adore the old heirlooms. Mine have already bloomed, so thanks for the pics... aren't they beautiful?!
