Accidently, I stumbled upon a catalogue of a grower called My West Palm. The catalogue features are tricky...the spelling is horrendous and many of the hoya names are wrong or misspelled or.....? They have a GREAT selection - if indeed they have those plants. Just a heads' up call to be careful ordering from them and verify with, say, www.myhoyas.com or the plant files here on DG before committing....

Funny !! I stumbled upon it just yesterday !
What I noticed is that I'm pretty sure this person is using other
people's pics of their hoya flowers. I've seen those same pics
around on other places and surely it wasn't this same person.

With all the misspellings, I'm wondering if there are U.S.-based or overseas. It was hard to tell. But they do seem to have a huge selection.

What I thought strange is that they feature hoyas and tailoring presses. A very unlikely combination in my book. How often should you water a tailoring press?
I can't find the link. Do you have a website or what?
Marcy
marcy...can you google it?
The fellow answered my email...name is Nikolai...no idea where he is but I thought West Palm would be Palm Beach....his english is very rudimentary.....

Sounds very fishy to me ... I don't order on line much anyway but I would never order from a site that has so much misspelling and no information as to where they are, who they are etc. If you click on order now, It says to e-mail them with the list of the hoyas you are interested in!
edited to say: Yeah, my first thought would be West Palm Beach, Florida too ... but, I really don't think so!

I googled it too.....weird
DId anyone else notice the wording at the bottom of the page that said something about quality site? And THAT part was even misspelled?
Thanks all. Yes...looks very fishy to me. Not too cheap either. I would never order from there either. Just wanted to see what you were talking about.

Perhaps someone should write to him and offer to "proof read and correct" his site - for a fee, of course, as it is a lot of work!!! I wrote to him that if he wanted to look professional he should do just that!!!!
I doubt seriously if that site will remain active for long ... can't imagine he would get any business at all!
I'll offer to proofread in exchange for hoyas, lol. I actually emailed him/her and they responded that they are actually in West Palm Beach, Florida.
I know that his (?) name is Nikolai... Good job Julia...you will need someone to verify his hoya species IDs. The daunting task overwhelms me!!!
I was just joking - I have enough work on my hands with my next book deadline...and my toddler.
