This is a Booted Racket-tail Hummingbird.

Wow! Where was he in SA when he saw these?

In Feb.
He has also been to Costa Rica a few times birding.

bumping this back up to the top. I think it would be a wonderful addition to Dave's Garden. I don't have the expertise to add much to the files, but I know many folks in this forum do. Isn't there someone willing to step up to the plate and take charge of this projected project?
