Shangri La Botanical Gardens and Nature Center in Orange Texas just opened last month.
I went this week a thought I would share some pictures with you.

This is just a glimpse of the gardens. It's only been open about a month so some of the plants are still small. It will be interesting to go back in future months and see the progression.

When your traveling down the bayou surrounded by cypress draped with spanish moss or looking at the herons on the lake, it's hard to believe you are in the heart of the city.
