I am in Mansfield; it has been raining ferociously. Thank God, that the hail isn't that big, it looks more like a small marble size and it does look like it has snowed out here. I hope our cars haven't been damaged.
Storms Tonight
It is just getting here... glad to hear you are ok and hope the same for everyone else out there!
the sirens went off here
All we've got is wind. Don't want hail, but we sure need rain.
It was to the north through downtown Fort Worth and the south of I-20 so the heavy hail missed us. We had heavy rain and may have had some high water, but no flooding in the back of the yard like we have sometimes.
Hope everyones cars and plants faired ok.

I haven't gone out to look, but it rained really hard, no hail here.
You and I were pretty lucky with all that they had west of FW it appears. It looked like snow on the ground from what the news is showing. Also car windows at dealerships in Parker Co. were shattered. They are going to have a 'hail' of a sale!
I'm glad to hear everyone is OK. The storm is over us right now. Fortunately, it has weaken quite a bit — no hail and very little lightening — mostly rain. It was so dry this winter. Spring hasn't been much better. This is the first rain we have had in over a month.
I loved your "hail of a sale" line, Sheila. When i went outside this morning, because it was dark, I couldn't see a lot. But lots of limbs, my patio is covered with what looks like dirt, leaves, and limbs. When I get home from work, I will go out and assess the damage.
I am southeast of Fort Worth and south of 287. Lots of wind, rain, and hail.
Gotta go. Y'all have a good day.
I'm located at 30 & 820 West Loop. We had marble size hail for about 10 minutes. My husband thought I was going to go throw myself on my veggie plants....LOL!! Luckily, I don't think we had any damage and only lost 2 tomato plants (out of 30), but my pepper plants & eggplants look awful...very few if any leaves left.

Just a touch of hail, nothing bad there but the wind was hard and the rain was pounding. Over all the area looks ok this AM so we are thankful.
It was pretty scary, the sirens and all, but most of my plants are under the trees,so not much damage. Some dime sized hail, but all is good here, hope everyone fared well. Couldn't get the animals to settle down, even Sissy, the scaredy cat,is on the bed with the dogs.....Becki
Looks like all we had was some much needed rain.
My neighbors across the street were standing outside watching the storm approach! We live just south of I-20 & Trail Lake Dr/Woodway Dr and all we got was some high winds, small hail, and 1.5" of rain in less than an hour. I heard the tornado sirens go off at least twice, maybe even 3 times. All my plants are fine. Had my 2 kitties in their carriers in the hallway by the closet just in case. I also had my emergency supply kit ready.
Not the way I prefer to spend my evenings! LOL

Stephanie, you are a good Cat Slave. Last summer when the tornado sirens went off in Rowlett, I had my 5 cats locked in the master bedroom. I, their stupid owner, was glued to the patio window, watching the storm clouds, but the cats were safe! :-)
Got 1-1/4" of rain and a bit of wind last night. Thank goodness that was all.
Carla
lol We have three cats but only two carriers. If we have to go into the shelter under the stairs, I imagine the fur will be flying in one. Perhaps I need to invest in another carrier.
We also have 3 cats. Two of them get along pretty well, but you add the third one it's like lighting a stick of dynamite. DD named her Misty, but I told DD that she should have named her Testy.
