The first thing that comes to mind when you see this brug in bloom is that the tendrils are insane! The bloom itself stands straight out at you flaring it's large tendrils. I have her growing in direct sun here in florida and she is thriving. She has been used to create some of the best new hybrids (like Sheer Bliss) because she has a tendency to pass on those tendrils to her offspring. Unfortunately she has a reputation of being hard to root so she isn't grown in many collections. If you can ever get your hands on one this one of the best to have.
Rothkirch
One of my VERY FAVOURITE brugs :-)
Mine too! Got this one from you, dear friend. So good to see you again.
Gloria
I don't think I've seen this one offered anywhere. I have to find one. I bought some seed recently and am trying to write down as much ancestral information as I can find, pretty much what I do with out cattle. I was surprised at how often Rothkirch comes up.
Lovely flower indeed...
Betty.. would you post the geneology you've compiled for the brugs...are you doing them all.. or just some ofthe ones you have.. Idon't believe I've see such a break down ofancestory anywhere.. Gordon
Gordon, I'm just doing it for the seeds I have and may expand for the Brugs I have when I have the time. I'm using the Register from a site we are not supposed to mention and little bits here and there. I would love to see that information added to the PlantFiles. It would be invaluable.
