I would like to get a couple of hardy hibiscus in pink, or fushia, or purple. I would prefer varities that do not mature over 5 feet tall. I have pink lilies & purple liatris for trade.
WANTED hardy pink hibiscus in pink, also Rose of Sharon
Sounds good to me! How big have your's matured? How big are the seedlings now? Although I'm not that picky about if they grow BIG, my SIL is.
The liatris is just breaking the ground & the lilies are about 2 inches tall will mature at about 3 feet and here they bloom early June. I will be back in town on Monday. I probably won't get a chance to get back to you before then but I'm sure we can make a trade.
Any body else SURE of what they have? I'm hoping for a bright pink or deep purple.
the seedlings are anywhere from 1-4 inches high, some are just beginning to get their buds and some donot have any yet so they would be better canidates, they cannot be dug up once they have their leaves as they probably would die , i made that mistake last year ,so the window is right. i would have to check on the one that gets the different hues, that is in a seperate area away from the other 3. btw these are the tree type sharons, mine are about 4 feet tall.
pardon the lack of caps but my shift /cap button on the keyboard has died.
i can send you cuttings of double purple rose of sharon. they're not rooted as i will be cutting them when isend them
Yes to both of you! Please just let me know how much postage I owe you or if you would like to trade for some of lily bulbs or liatris. Which ever is good for you.
will get them in the mal tusday
I have hardy hibiscus seed, (thanks to my little helper) they are mixed , pink, dark pink, rose and white with red throat. I can send you seeds for Liatris.
They grow great here in Southern Michigan, flowers get about 5 inchs across , and plants are about 4-5 feet tall. The older the plant gets the larger around it gets my mother plant is over 50 years old and it would take about 5 people to reach around it when it is in bloom.
The seds will bloom the second year and every year after .
Ann
