Hello! I just cut the top off my Brug as it was almost 8 foot tall and in my basement.Just too unmanageable. It had y-ed and finally bloomed last summer.i put the top in a jar with tepid water.Should I put it in a sunny window?I have powdered rooting homone.Should I put a tiny bit in the water?

Top cutting in sunny window?
Use plain tap water with a few drops of hydrogen peroxide. Morning sun with bright indirect light the rest of the day until it roots and you are ready to pot it up. Brugs don't do well with bottom heat and so I'm assuming that the same would hold true for rooting in water. I've always used room temperature.
