my new cutting from Ca.

Well, no one wanted to tell me about the pimpette, or the hoya angel places for buying new hoyas, so I was hoping that maybe someone could send me the information about how to order cuttings from David Liddle. I must say that all the hype surrounding these plants has me curious.

Here is a picture of my new hoya cutting. I just got it today, and my friend in Ca. is teaching me how to root it. If it dies she said she will send me another one. Can't beat that with a stick.

lovinfrogs, is that the cumingiana from me? I'm Ann, your "Hoya Friend in California." To answer your question, the "pimpette" is Carol from Aloha Hoyas. Do a google search for Hawaii Hoyas and you'll come across her website. Also, the hoya angel you are referring to, I believe, is the brand name Exotic Angel that is sold at the big box stores.

Thank you for clearing up the mystery of the pimpette. I thought that on the thread called "Just arrived..." that the hoya angel they were referring to was the same brand as the exotic angel plants that I have from lowes. I guess I don't need to contact that place, since I already know where to find them.

I better read things a little closer, since I also saw the "hoyas in Hawaii" thread, and there was a picture of the gentleman who owns them right on the front page. You keep mentioning Carol, but markroy69 refers to him as Ted. What a great occupation for a retired couple.

I guess I better go google for Ted and Carol's store - It was great running in to you. Thanks again for all of your help, and my first rare hoya.

To anyone just readying this thread....it is a fake. Those two personae (actually one person playing herself) got outed from the forum for being a.... well...she is gone.

Amen Carol. Although, could it be that the PHD is a fake as she is? The entire saga continues to blow my mind. I was talking to my kid about it and he called them "internet trollers." All 3 are just a group of pour excuses for human beings.

It really continues. Ann is writing me saying that it was the OTHERS who wrote the 'nasty posts' and that since I used a fake name, 2 years ago, to get on CMB's yahoo forum (the information was not available to all as it is on MSN and at the time I was silly), I pointed out that the purposes are different. I wanted information. They wanted to hurt and be hateful.

I guess they think it is all ok. Oh well.

It was 3 people using common 'pseudo-IDs' and sometimes talking with that pseudo ID...wierd. I thought this was about Hoyas...not mental problems??????

Well, I've heard of personality conflicts and problems on other forums but I think this situation is a first!

If it was the OTHERS who did it, why she had the most 'pseudo-IDs' logins from her IP address? Why she didn’t expose them? It sounds to me like she is sorry because she was caught.

You want to talk about mental problems; if you could only see the personal email that one of them sent me, and the profanity and sick things he said about me, my wife who is totally innocent, and others on this forum, it would shock you. This person who had my personal email, because of a certain DL order that he put together is just vile.

I Think I'll send myself some plants tomorrow, I guess I'll have to go look and see what I want. Hey it's cheaper than buying more, I only have to pay the shipping, and I still get the thrill when the mailman shows up.

I understand that people are capable of rationalizing about anything - but how someone(s) can rationalize PURPOSEFULLY hurting and maligning others, and PURPOSEFULLY creating chaos and upheaval, is indefensible no matter how many letters you have after your name, how large you can grow a hoya, or how innocent you can make yourself sound!

Doug, you did not deserve that and I am sorry you were treated with such rude behavior. Heck, you are one of the most pleasant members of this forum! Why you would be targeted is beyond me.....and your wife??? Geeze.....

Carol, I guess she views it as your fault she got caught. If you follow comments the 3 of them made on the post when we did the fall round robin, it is pretty darn obvious Ann was was the ring leader.

Although I cannot remember the exact wording, Chris Burton told me that Sara wrote to her asking to buy a plant. She then told Chris the next time Chris orders from David Liddle, she wanted to go in with Chris because she prefered the way Chris handled it. Mind you this was at the same time she was gushing all over David for the brilliant way he handled the problems with USDA. I guess if they tire of back stabbing us, they go after each other!

It must be a sad life to live with such hate.

I wonder....hmmmm....do you think dm really had problems with USDA or was that made up too? He had such a need to be the center of attention...and it would have been a good 'reason' to try to get USDA to block all other shippments from DL. I seriously question anything dm ever said, at this point.

I'm going to try to forget about him totally now. I'm also going to get a really dark magic marker and black out his name on all those David Liddle plant tags so everytime I check the cuttings I'm not seeing his name. I really want to forget about him for good.
