The Rocky Mountain Chapter of the N. Am. Rock Garden Society is holding our Spring Plant Sale at the Denver Botanic Gardens (Mitchell Hall) on Saturday, April 26, 9-2 for the public. The members-only night ($10 to join) includes first pick of great plants and an ice-cream social and starts at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 25.
We have growers from Ft. Collins to Santa Fe bringing very special plants for this sale, plants that are often available only from specialized catalogs, or not at all. I am always thrilled and come home loaded with way over my "limit", but somehow manage to find a spot for them all. We have many natives, lots of penstemons, hybrid daphnes, and other great plants that are not all under 12" high. Come join us!
