There's a stink bug on my onion,
And there's soap spray in my hand;
Farewell, Brochymena pustula,
And I don't care where you land.
I'll never taste my passionfruit.
Thanks, Agraulis vanillae!
Be glad your beauty's worth it,
Or you'd feel the same cold spray.
And you? A cucumber beetle?
Or the Mexican spotted bean?
Lost control; didn't spray but drowned you
And I don't feel the least bit mean.
And in the veggie corner
The tomatoes are knee-high!
Start munching, little hornworm;
I'll find you bye and bye.
All you wiggly multi-toed munchers,
Get whatever you can get.
I'd set the chickens on you
But I don't have chickens yet.
So all you sticks and spiders,
Put on your bibs today!
For all the aphids you can eat
At Annie's Bug Buffet!
I wrote y'all a poem this morning
Very cute Bigidlily, and very appropriate.
Josephine.
ROFLOLOLOL You need to post that in the Bug Files forum!
Brigidily, love it! Thanks for the grin.
Amen! And bring them chickens on... Have you decided which ones you are getting? I saw your thread on the type of henhut.
I don't have any "ladies" right now but loved them and think about having more every so often. Especially when I'm outside and hear our neighbors' gals clucking thru the woods. OTOH, DH says no roosters when he hears the crowing going on day and night.
