We have been working for more than six years on deer resistance trials for perennials in my garden in Athens OH (Zone 6a).
Today we are releasing a list of more than 300 plants that have been tested for at least a 3-year period.
The list is sortable by Latin and common names, light requirement, bloom height, color and time, and deer resistance.
We hope that people will not only use this list but also send us comments. We understand that what works in my garden may not work in yours.
The website also provides lists from other studies and tips for creating lush gardens in deer country.
