I planted it late Oct. and have worried all winter.
I just hope We don't have freezing weather here tomorrow night. I gotta figure out what to cover it up with.
Think an empty 5 gal buck would work?

Mt Thailand Giant is comming up thru the mulch.
Fill the 5 gal with bubble paper, then overturn it over the new sprout coming up. If you are like me, you'll wake up in the middle of the night to check temps. If you do and it seems like it's getting too cool, boil up some water, plunk some big rocks in, let them heat up really hot, then, using gloves, take them and put them under the bucket. Be careful not to touch the new shoot. The bucket, bubble paper, and hot rocks should do the trick.
