Just starting to pink up in color. She's a big bushy girl. In front of her is Jamie (But that's not his bloom) and to the left is Maya.
Painted Lady
Mary, you Painted Lady looks so pretty and healthy. Will Jamie get as big?
Fantastic! So nice to get spring blooms! She looks fabulous!
What is that enclosure? I like how the sides roll up.. I need something like that for my new area.. it's just tooooo hot in full sun all day here.
wow those are healthy... make mine look like they came out of a concentration camp! I don't know how to grow them in the winter.. I just manage to keep them alive.. well, most of them. I lost my frosty pink and panama gold.. they are just dead dry sticks. I am hoping something will come from the roots but no sign of anything. The rest are sticks with a few leaves growing in spots. They will fill out.. I have faith but I doubt they will ever look as healthy as those. congratulations.
Joyce, it's the 10 x 20 enclosure from Costco. More sturdy than the pop up type. We put the sides on for the winter, but you can open windows for air or light. Now we've rolled up the sides this past weekend. I try to put the brugs on all four edges so they get part time sun and part time shade.
I don't know what size Jamie will get to be. Time will tell.
Hope your brugs recover from the winter Lhasalover.
Mary, your plants are so very nice...looks like you found the perfect enclosure for growning beautiful specimens. So far my new set-up for over wintering brugs. has worked and there are no losses, but they sure do not look wonderful like yours. Congratulations!
