Do any of you ponders have ducks? We just bought 2 ducklings to help us with our slug/snail population later on. Plus we will be finishing the pond soon. I could use info on care if anyone has any. Thanks!

How cute!!! I loave ducks!! I had two little ones like that when I was growing up in the country. Giant snapping turtles got them.
I would love to have ducks but I don't know if I can keep them within city limits. Oh well, my terriers would probably think they were squeek toys anyway.
They are cute but they will eat your fish and tear up your plants.

I think I would enjoy the ducks more than the plants and fish.. wish I had the room. They are adorable.
They are too cute! We had considered them for a time (to eat algae, never heard they would eat the snails and slugs) but heard that they would eat all the plants! So we declined :( Darn it, they are cute!
One word of advise, DON"T allow ducks in the pond, the water will go bad from the duck poop, they will eat all the plants and the ones they don't eat will be pulled up, fish will be eaten . AND you will have a royal mess.
Believe me, my neighbor had 4 duck that I thought were cute untill they started visiting my pond, what a mess.................
